Next Thursday, the 21st, Havan inaugurates the mega store number 155, this time in Capão da Canoa (RS). It will be the 11th Havan in Rio Grande do Sul, which already has branches in the cities of Caxias do Sul, Erechim, Gravataí, Ijuí, Passo Fundo, Pelotas, Santa Cruz do Sul, Santa Maria, Viamão and Guaíba.
According to the expansion director, Nilton Hang, investments in the state are in full swing and other branches are planned to be built, but still with no opening date. Among the confirmed municipalities are Porto Alegre, Rio Grande, Canoas, Novo Hamburgo, Esteio, Canela, Santa Rosa and Vacaria.
Havan’s forecast is that in 2021 20 branches will be opened in Brazil, totaling an investment of approximately R$ 400 million and 3 thousand new jobs. On the 14th, the first store of the year was opened in the city of Balneário Camboriú (SC).

The store number 155 of the chain is located at Estrada do Mar (Nelson Gonçalves Highway), number 3200, Zona Nova and opens from 9am to 10pm from Monday to Sunday. With 8 thousand square meters and the traditional façade of the White House, the 11th Rio Grande do Sul unit will have its own parking and eating area, in addition to the Statue of Liberty. About 150 new jobs were created with the new branch.
Havan’s owner, Luciano Hang, emphasizes that Brazil is a fertile ground for opportunities and the plan is to continue opening stores, creating jobs and opportunities. At the moment, the chain is present in 17 states and wants to expand to all Brazilian states in the coming years. “I am a born optimist. I believe in Brazil and the importance of employment to give people freedom. This is our motivation and for each store we open, a new desire to open the next one is born. Let’s move forward!”
