A new scam is being applied using the image of Luciano Hang, owner of Havan. Scammers used an old video and, using Artificial Intelligence, reproduced a voice similar to the ones of the businessman.
Many customers went to the Havan stores throughout Brazil looking for the “offer” that was announced on the video, however, it doesn’t exist, because it is a fraud.
The retailer’s Digital Security Team has been working to take down the various profiles that is created on social media to share the content. In addition to it, the legal department works to hold criminals.
Havan alert customers that all offers can be confirmed on company official profiles (@havanoficial), or in a website havan.com.br
