In the month that Maranhão’s capital, São Luís, complete 409 years of foundation, Havan get a gift to the city the 164ª megastore of the retailer and the first in the state. The enterprise will open its doors to the public at Thursday, September 2nd, and will operate daily, from 9am to 10pm.
Each Havan megastore generates from 150 to 200 directly jobs and was surprising the quantity of interested people to be a part of new branch. Almost of 60 thousand people had been registered to join of the Havan selection. “We are so happy to arrive in Maranhão. Now it’s not long to our family increase. As we always said, each megastore that opens, is like a daughter that born. This store, in a very special way, arrives next to the city’s 409 birthday, that will be celebrated in September 8th, being our gift to the population, carrying income generation, jobs and bringing a new experience of tourism, leisure and purchases for all the region”, emphasizes Havan’s owner, Luciano Hang.
The megastore
Located at Daniel de La Touche avenue, Cohama district, the new Havan megastore counts with 18 thousand m² of building area, the traditional White House facade, covered parking, air conditioner system, food area and the traditional replica of the Statue of Liberty. Were invested almost of R$ 41 million in the enterprising construction.
With a mix of 350 thousand items in differently departments, like household, electric and electronics, home utilities, housewares, fashion and others, Havan is the certainly address to make purchases or have family leisure moments.
With the opening at Maranhão state, Havan passed to be present in 20 states, generating mre than 21 thousand of directly jobs. From January to August of this year, was inaugurated 10 new megastores. “What make us to take stores for this country is to see how much important is to have a job in a person life. Having a job, person have your freedom and dignity assured. I was very emotional when I open one Havan and could opportunize a new life for so many people”, concludes Hang.
