Havan, the largest department store in Brazil, denies the rumor that it is closing the Taubaté (SP) branch. In the last few days, several fake news circulated announcing that the unit, located in Shopping Via Vale, would be leaving the city. The regional manager, who serves the 12 cities in the Paraíba Valley, Daniel Nunes, says that there is no project in this sense or even to change addresses. “These news are just rumors, since Havan is consolidated in the city and very satisfied with Taubaté”, guarantees Nunes. Currently, the store, which has been in the city for four years, employs around 70 people and is among the largest retailers in Taubaté.
