In the second half of April, Havan opens two more megastores, on the 27th in Teresina (PI), and on the 29th, in Osasco (SP). With the new branches, Havan reaches 157 megastores and, this year, the retailer completes 35 years of foundation.
Approximately 150 new jobs and dozens of indirect jobs are generated in each project. Currently, Havan has around 20 thousand employees. Investments in the Teresina and Osasco branches total about R$ 75 million.
Havan’s owner Luciano Hang emphasizes that the company’s expansion plan is in full swing this year. With the Teresina store, Havan will be present in 18 Brazilian states. “I am a born optimist. I believe in Brazil and the importance of employment to give people freedom. This is our motivation and, for each store we open, a new desire to open the next one is born. Let’s move forward!”
Piauí
With investments of R$ 35 million, the Piauí unit will have 18 thousand square meters and will operate on Avenida João XXIII, in the Santa Isabel neighborhood, east of Teresina. “The Teresina store is one of the largest in Brazil. We are very happy to contribute to the retail in the capital of Piauí and to be another shopping option”, declares the expansion director, Nilton Hang. The unit will have two floors, parking, a food court and a replica of the statue of liberty.
Osasco
The Osasco megastore is located on Avenida das Nações Unidas – Marginal Tietê, neighborhood Presidente Altino. It will feature the Statue of Liberty, symbol of Havan, which is a postcard in the cities where there is a replica of the monument. The investment was R$ 40 million. “We will delight the entire region with more jobs, income and joy for the population of Osasco”, guarantees Luciano Hang. The store will have 20 thousand square meters.
Full experience
In megastores, customers find a complete shopping and leisure experience, with a product mix of more than 300 thousand national and imported items, in different sectors, such as: bed, table and bath, electronics, housewares, bazaar, among others. They also have free parking, an air-conditioned environment, a food court and, in some stores, there are amusement parks and cinemas.
In addition to physical stores, Havan also offers other shopping channels to make the customer’s life easier. Like “Shipping From Store”, which transforms store stocks into distribution centers, “Pick-Up In Store”, which makes it possible to purchase on the website and pick up the product at any Havan store and yet, “Zap Havan”, with an option to access 10 different services.
The opening hours of both stores, when there are no decrees in force due to the pandemic, are from 9 am to 10 pm, from Sunday to Sunday.
