Havan opens its third megastore in the state of Rio de Janeiro, in Resende

Havan continues the expansion project in Brazil. On Thursday, May 20, the retailer opens its 158th megastore, in Resende, located in the southwest of Rio de Janeiro. It is the chain’s third enterprise in the state and R$25 million were invested in the project.

The new enterprise generated 200 new jobs and will be a postcard for the region. The project, in addition to having the traditional facade of the White House, will also have the Havan symbol, which is the Statue of Liberty.

The Havan of Resende will have 10 thousand square meters of constructed area and in the branch the public will find all the quality and variety of products, characteristics of the company. More than 350 thousand items will be offered, a large, air-conditioned space, free parking, a food court and kids’ space.

The 158th Megastore is located alongside the Presidente Dutra Highway, (Dorival Marcondes Godoi St. – nº 165) and opens from 9 am to 10 pm, from Sunday to Sunday.

Havan’s owner, Luciano Hang, talks about the joy of opening another store in the state of Rio de Janeiro. “We are very happy to be able to take another Havan to Rio de Janeiro, generating a lot of opportunity and development for the city. Each store we open is like a daughter to us, we are excited and anxious that everything goes well, so that customers feel as welcomed as we are being welcomed in the city. I want to thank the public of Resende for their receptivity, I’m sure it will be a great space for leisure, shopping and entertainment for the entire population”, he concludes.
