June is special for Havan, it’s the month the retailer turns 35. The chains’ arrival in Aracaju, Sergipe, is part of the anniversary celebrations. Scheduled to open on June 17, it will be the first branch in the state and the 160th Havan in Brazil. Currently, the chain is present in 18 Brazilian states and Distrito Federal.
Approximately R$ 45 million were invested in the Sergipe store, which will have 10,000 square meters, 420 parking spaces, a food court and a replica of the Statue of Liberty, the store chain’s postcard. The megastore will offer more than 350 thousand items, including electronics, appliances, fashion, toys, decoration and much more.
The arrival of Havan in Aracaju was being long awaited by Sergipe people, around 47 thousand CVs were received for 200 vacancies. The megastore will be located at Presidente Tancredo Neves Avenue, 7840, in the Novo Paraiso neighborhood, the store opens daily from 9 am to 10 pm.
The owner of Havan, Luciano Hang, emphasizes the joy of continuing to open stores and generating opportunities for Brazil. He also comments on how unique this moment is for the company. “Each store I open is a source of pride, it’s like another daughter was born. But I am especially happy to open branch number 160 in a state that has long been waiting for Havan. The chain is going through a very special period, in which we look to the past and see how much we have built, how much people believe in our company and in the values we stand for. We are making the difference. In addition, we also see that we have a lot to dream and achieve, the ground of opportunity for Havan is fertile.
