Havan has open registration for the “Jornada Labs da Havan”, which aims to hire and train young people to be part of the team of developers of the retail chain. There will be 20 vacancies and among the requirements it is necessary to have some programming knowledge and to be over 18 years old. The program will happen at Havan’s headquarters in Brusque (SC) and is aimed at candidates from the region.
The great differential of “Jornada Labs da Havan” is that from the first day of the program, the selected ones will be part of Havan’s team of collaborators. They will be hired by the company via CLT. At first, they will undergo 360 hours of training in programming languages, such as C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Database.
There will be 20 selected, who will be hired via CLT from the first day of class. The classes will happen at Havan Labs, the innovation laboratory of the largest department store in Brazil, and the program is run by Proway, a Blumenau company with extensive know-how in selecion-training programs.
The Development Coordinator Goreti Maestri emphasizes that the objective of this first edition of “Jornada Labs da Havan” is to offer a first opportunity in the area of technology and a cutting-edge training to young people residing in Brusque and region. “We want to give young talents of this area the chance to work in a large company as programmers, also counting with real possibilities of professional growth”, he highlights.
The IT manager, Valter Soares, emphasizes that the technology sector is promising and is among the fastest growing in Brazil and in the world. “To have an idea, in addition to this project, we are hiring 300 new professionals for Havan Labs. Currently, we have a team of almost 200 professionals, which is recognized nationally and internationally for projects of RFID, artificial intelligence, applications and many other technologies”, he adds.
How to participate
Registrations can be made on the havan.proway.com.br portal and will continue until May 8th. Once the enrollment is complete, the candidate will receive a confirmation email and an invitation to access their candidate area, where they can take the logical reasoning test. The selection will also have a programming challenge, interviews and dynamics.
