Havan is one of 100 bigger companies in Brazil

The store chain Havan is the 99th bigger companie in Brazil and 7th bigger in Santa Catarina. In the retail sector, Havan is the only “catarinense” that occupy the first ones position, getting on 13th position. This information was publicized on Valor 1000 ranking, prepared anually by Valor Econômico Newspaper.

Among the data considered in the ranking, prepared by Serasa Experian and FGV-SP too, is the Net Sales Revenue, Profit and EBITDA, in addition to other financial indicators. In Havan’s case, the research considered only the revenue of the megastores. The Havan Group, which also includes gas stations, real estate and energy investments, among other businesses, had revenue in 2020 of more than R$10 billion, with 30% growth in net profit.

Havan’s owner, Luciano Hang, celebrates the result and remember how was challenger to pass a pandemic, keeping jobs. He also emphasizes the desire to continue investing in Brazil and in Brazilians. “I never imagined that Havan would get where it has. But when you see you’ve had reached this level, you start dreaming bigger. This increases our desire to grow, but also our responsability”, he said.

Havan have 35 years of histor, counts with 164 megastores, in 20 Brazilian states, counting with 22,000 direct employees and, at least, 120,000 indirect employees. Only in taxes and benefits, the companie pay anually R$ 3 billion. The chain offer to customers a mix with more than 350 thousand of items, counting with approximately 700 suppliers, and the retailer prides itself on selling more than 90% of national products in its stores.
