Troco Solidário Havan
“Troco Solidário” is a Havan’s initiative, which counts with the participation of customers to collect donations for entities and institutions in the cities where it operates.
By paying for purchases with cash, the customer is invited by the store’s cashier to donate part of his change. Donations are counted in our system and the person receives a proof of participation in the campaign with the name of the entity that she is helping. By making the donation, Havan customers still compete for prizes offered by our company.
Since the first edition, in 2010, Troco Solidário has already raised more than R$ 40 million, benefiting 1,131 entities throughout Brazil. Every six months a new entity is chosen to be benefited, allowing the increase of the number of people contemplated.
“When people put the coin in Troco Solidário, they don’t even imagine the amount of love that this gesture will generate. When I left the hospital and felt the wind for the first time after the transplant, it was like feeling God caressing me,”said Jhulya Milioransa, a young woman from Paraná who overcame a rare type of leukemia after a bone marrow transplant performed by the Uopeccan Hospital, in Cascavel in Paraná. The Uopeccan Hospital was one of the entities already benefited by the project.
With this action, we seek to reinforce our commitment to contribute to the country’s social development, also awakening in our customers the desire to help and make a difference in people’s lives.
