For Havan, being a companie that believes in Brasil involves, also, encouraging the development of economic activities in the country. An example is the production of the retailer’s own clothing brands, that are made nationally and correspond to 85% of the entire fashion mix. The Spring/Summer 2022 collection that arrives at the retailer in early October is a reflection of this purpose.
The collection was produced as Private Label (PL), that is, clothing companies from all over the country produced the pieces for Havan in the women’s, men’s, children’s, lingerie and sport lines. The remaining 15% is from other brands.
This is the first collection of Havan’s providers selected by “Gigantes da Moda” project. The initiative happens in January, and selected 60 companies from all over Brazilto produce for Havan. Among the requirements, there was the capacity to manufacture more than 100 thousand pieces per month, the delivery time and other specifications of the retailer’s suppliers.
The fashion manager, Juliana Nunes, detail that Havan’s fashion department involves too much expressive numbers. Only last year was more than 60 million of pieces destinated to branches. “This reallity tends to grow much more with the stores expansion. To attend this demand, we need a strong chain that works in perfect harmony. This collection that will arrive in the stores is a result of a very beautiful project which gave opportunities to new suppliers”, she emphasizes.
The collection
The style coordinator, Jessica Boca Santa, reveal that collection Spring/Summer 2022 is anchored in two major trends: artisanal and digital. “The first brings a card with raw tones and prints inspired by nature. On the other hand, the digital shows vibrant colors, textures and some differentiated models”, she adds.
She emphasizes that as a network aimed at serving the whole family, the Havan’s fashion mix counts with clothing options for every day of the week and for different audiences. In addition to, had the “Plus Size” line, which has increasingly attracted the attention of customers. “We are the family store and our goal is to dress everyone. Wheter with pieces for everyday life or with some novelties for those looking for something different”, she told.
Quality and durability
Jessica points that Havan has constantly invested in the improvement of textile production, aiming at the development of parts with even more quality and durability, even considering issues involving sustainability. “There are many points which has been helping us to detach ourselves from fast fashion. Among them, the production lead time, people’s awareness of consumption and, above all, our payment terms. In fashion, we are going through a great moment of transformation and Havan is attentive to all this movement”.
